Newsflash: quick pimple remedy exists. Some pimples are just too stubborn and it seems like no matter what you do, they just do not fade away fast enough to suit us. I hear you, this used to be my problem too.
If you have been reading carefully, you might have caught the words “used to be”. Pimples are a perpetual problem for people with oily skin like mine but I have an army of remedies that helps me get rid of them in no time. If you want to know a thing or two about quick pimple remedy, read on for an inside look to my top 5 zit-busting treatments.
1. Lemon Juice
Lemon juice primarily works as a bleaching agent. I can never go without lemon in my pantry for numerous beauty problems—such as scars. But this also has unbelievable powers when it comes to lessening the redness of pimples.
You can dab it on the area affected or slather the juice on your face for 20 minutes and then rinse it off afterwards. Just some words of caution: do not leave it on your face especially when you go outdoors during daylight. UV rays will surely burn your skin.
2. Aspirin Mask
Crush some generic aspirin or soak it in water. Dab the paste into the affected area. Aspirin actually contains salicylic acid which is a proven pimple treatment. You can leave the paste on overnight or wash it off after a few minutes.
3. White toothpaste
Toothpaste also contains the same zit-busting powers of aspirin. This is probably a common treatment now and most people know about it. But I find plain white toothpaste better than flavored or colored ones. I do not advise leaving it on your face as it has a tendency to burn. You might want to wash it off after twenty minutes or so.
4. Strawberry juice
Fresh strawberry juice is better ingested for people suffering from acne. It has natural acne-healing powers. But you can also use it topically. Just dab it on the affected area or apply it to your whole face.
5. Moisturize with ginseng and chamomile extract
I swear by the use of my moisturizer that contains various herbal extracts like ginseng and chamomile extracts. Ginseng has super rejuvenating properties and chamomile has soothing properties apart from its antibacterial properties.
You can gently rub this kind of moisturizer in the affected area. Leave it overnight and it will help heal your pimples faster.
You can easily find quick pimple remedy in your kitchen or your drugstore. You need not shell out a hundred dollars on untried treatments. Try these home remedies for pimples and see a load of difference.
